href=\"https:\/\/mythslegendes.com\/en\/southern-tahitian-mythology\/\">Raivavae<\/a> regularly came to the beach of the motu Miti a tipi hara which is located in the North-East of the island of Tubuai (Australia) to call the fishermen. Those who were too curious and approached were eaten, so that over time the fishermen carefully avoided approaching this motu.<\/p><p>Hungry, the witch was forced to go out and met two fishermen.<\/p><p>- I&#039;m hungry ! I want to eat ! she says.<\/p><p>The fishermen invited him to eat pahua (clams). Having emptied all the large hapee (baskets) and still not being satisfied, she decided to go fishing. Our two friends then advised him to wait until the animal&#039;s two valves were fully open to grab his chair more easily. She dove and caught a pahua. The two fishermen implored their god, so that the two valves of the font immediately closed on the witch&#039;s hands.<\/p><p>The fishermen took advantage of this to knock him out for good.
