One held the handlebars, the other guided the oxen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These brothers loved each other very much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While ploughing, the coulter hits an obstacle. After much effort, a jar full of gold is discovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pusher says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0&quot; Hello ! I found gold! &quot;\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The herdsman says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don&#039;t say &#039;I found&#039;, but &#039;we found&#039;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One says yes, the other no.&nbsp;<em>Yes \u2013 no \u2013 yes \u2013 no!&nbsp;<\/em>they argue, they argue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suddenly, the old man, owner of the field, stands in front of them and says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0&quot;&nbsp;<em>My children, this field containing gold belongs to me. I give you the gold. Why are you arguing? Pusher, the herdsman with reason, you should have said: \u201cwe found\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Share this gold between the two of you! &quot;\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He says, and disappears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two brothers look at each other, amazed at this miracle. The jar full of gold in front of them, they don&#039;t know what to do with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a while, the pusher says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boy, if I hadn&#039;t held the handlebars straight, the plow would have been askew, we wouldn&#039;t have hit the jar. All the gold is mine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Brother,&nbsp;<\/em>said the herdsman,<em>&nbsp;if I hadn&#039;t driven the oxen straight, your ploughshare would have been askew, it wouldn&#039;t have hit the jar, there wouldn&#039;t have been any gold. Ah! my brother, let&#039;s share between us!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One says no, the other yes,&nbsp;<em>no \u2013 yes \u2013 no \u2013 yes.<\/em>&nbsp;They bicker, practice under a hedge, they fight so much they both bleed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suddenly, they realize that there is neither jar nor gold.
