href=\"https:\/\/mythslegendes.com\/en\/\">Mythology<\/a> Choctaw-Chickasaw includes the following Native American peoples: <strong>Chacta, Tchakta, Tchacta, Choctaw, Chickasaw<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Chactas<\/strong> (or Choctaws) are a Native American tribe native to the southeastern United States (Mississippi, <a href=\"https:\/\/mythslegendes.com\/en\/creek-seminole-mythology\/\">Alabama<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/mythslegendes.com\/en\/mythes-et-legendes-muskogeens-2136\/\">Louisiana<\/a>). Their historical name during French colonization is <strong>Chactas<\/strong>, <strong>Chaktas<\/strong> Where <strong>Tchactas<\/strong>. According to historian Patricia Galloway, the Chactas did not exist as a unified people before the XVII<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0century. It was during this period that different peoples from the Mississippi civilization came together to form the Chacta people.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Chicachas<\/strong> (in English <em>Chickasaw<\/em>) are a Native American people living in the Southeastern United States. Their origin is undetermined. When Europeans encountered them, they were living in villages in what is now Mississippi, West Tennessee, and also in smaller numbers in South Carolina. But the Chicachas were probably immigrants themselves to these lands, and they may not have been descendants of the Indians of the prehistoric Mississippi culture.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\"
