Salish, Northern straits salish<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>the <strong>comox<\/strong> (<em>Q\u02beomo\u03c7\u02b7s<\/em> in Comox) is a Native American language of the Salish language family spoken in Canada, British Columbia, the central east coast of Vancouver Island, and on the mainland in the communities of Homalco, Klahuse, and Sliammon.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Word <strong>Squamish<\/strong> is the Latin script of an expression, formulated in a &quot;Coast Salish language&quot;, which refers to an Indian people originally from southwestern British Columbia in Canada.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>the <strong>lushootseed<\/strong>, also called <strong>Puget Sound Salish<\/strong>, is a variant of the Salish languages native to coastal areas stretching from southern British Columbia to northern Washington State and in particular near Puget Sound Bay where it was used by several Native American tribes.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>the <strong>northern straits salish<\/strong> is a Native American language of the Salish language family spoken in the United States, Washington State and Canada, British Columbia, southern Vancouver Island, on both sides of the Haro Straits and
