At <abbr title=\"15th century\">XV<sup>e<\/sup><\/abbr>\u00a0century, the O\u00efrates tribes form a powerful alliance known as the \u201cFour O\u00efrats peoples\u201d. Among the main tribes are the Choros, Torguts and D\u00f6rbets.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mythslegendes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/AlphaOmega-e1602613368367.png\" alt=\"Kalmyk mythology\" width=\"25\" height=\"26\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>In 1616, dissatisfied with the control of the alliance by the Choros, most of the Torguts and part of the D\u00f6rbets migrated west.
