Mythologie Nakh – Tchétchènes

We call Mythology Nakh the myths and legends of the Nakh peoples. They are a group of Caucasian peoples speaking related languages and sharing a number of common cultural characteristics. Formerly more widespread, it is now mainly made up of the Chechens and the Ingush who are two Vainakh peoples. The Bats of Georgia constitute a third Nakh people (but not Vainakh). They are today largely assimilated and their language is threatened.
