ToggleGrove of dancing birches
The nature of Azakhstan is amazing not only in its variety but also in its pristine creations. You know, almost every view of this country has its legend. One of such amazing places is a “grove of dancing birches” in Borovoe National Park.
There are many legends on the appearance of this grove. One of them says that once upon a time in ancient times there were people who lived at the foot of the Burabai mountain and organized festivals with various competitions, accompanied by songs and dances. Khan also wanted to look at these people, but he could not appear there as a ruler because he knew that if they had seen him, they would have been confused.
So he went on vacation with the only security guard, dressed in ordinary clothes. When the party was at its height, the beautiful girls appeared in the clearing of the wood. Khan was so carried away that he ran and shouted "Long years to your beauty!" The girls were so confused and scared that they froze in one place, turning into white birches. To this day, the beauty of these girls in the form of graceful birches attracts both locals and tourists.
