Winnebago mythology

The Mythology Winnebago includes the following Native American peoples: Ho-Chunk, Puants, Winnebago, Iowa, Ioway, Missouri, Omaha, Oto, Ponca

The Ho-Chunk, in French Stinky (Winnebagos as they are commonly referred to in English), are a Native American tribe, originally from what is now known as Wisconsin and Illinois, and are closely related in language, Winnebago, and civilization, to other Sioux. The Iowas (Where Ioways) are a Native American tribe. With the Missouris, the Omahas, the Otos and the Poncas, they were once part of the Ho-Chunk (Winnebagos).
