The mythology Tahitienne – Gambier désigne les mythes et legends de culture tahitienne situés sur les îles Gambier. Situées dans le Nord-Ouest de l’océan Pacifique Sud, elles sont l’un des cinq archipels de la Polynésie française.
The set is made up of fourteen high islands, four of which are very small, as well as several coral islets anchored on the reef which surrounds a deep lagoon in which the high islands are placed. The islands were populated from XIIe century of our era.
