In the 14th century, Aradia declared that anyone who followed the spiritual path of the Old Religion would possess the traditional powers of a witch, the Strega. She called these powers gifts, which are listed here.

* Bless and consecrate;
* Talk to the Spirits;
* Know all hidden things;
* Invoke spirits and creatures;
* Know the voice of the Wind;
* Possess the Knowledge of Transformation;
* Possess the Knowledge of Divination;
* Know and understand the secret symbols;
* To cure;
* Bring beauty;
* Influence wild animals;
* Know the Secret of the lines of the hand.
These gifts were not a method of attracting people to convince them to join the Old Religion, but the real powers within each of us, hitherto unknown and untapped.
